General Information
This six-week internship to Spain will revolve around two primary areas of ministry: assisting the Anglican Cathedral and assisting with outreach to Muslims and refugees. Students may also, at their own expense, sign up for a month of Spanish classes which take place twice a week.
The Anglican Cathedral has many needs. These include but are not limited to assisting with the liturgy (in Spanish), painting, repairs, organizing archives, helping with administrative functions, and assisting with the twice weekly social service wherein hundreds of bags of groceries are distributed to needy families. Regarding outreach, students might be asked to teach English, man a discussion table in a neighborhood with a significant Muslim presence, assist with the weekly Arabic-language fellowship, and help set up a website to make some valuable missionary archives available online.

Duane Miller, Ph.D., and his wife Sharon will facilitate this internship.  They served for over ten years in the Levant and speak fluent Arabic.  Since 2017, they have been ministering to Muslims and Spaniards in Madrid.  Duane grew up in Mexico, and he speaks fluent Spanish.  Sharon and their three kids are proficient in Spanish as well.
